| The Child Connect office in Omaha, NE held a bike drive the week of June 18, 2007 to get bikes for foster kids. Star 104.5, a local radio station did a wonderful job of promoting the event on the air and on their website. On Friday June 22, Glen Boy and Glow from the morning show did a live broadcast from the Child Connect office from Child Connect's parking lot from 6am to 9am. The Bike Rack also came to the bike drive to fix bikes and Omaha Firefighters Local 385 came down and helped unload and move bikes. There was a terrific turnout and the City Of Council Bluffs also donated 27 unclaimed bikes to the drive. Child Connect collect a total of 88 bikes! They also collected some monetary donations to purchase helmets for the children as well.

Children's Square U.S.A. brought over 27 bikes that the City of Council Bluffs donated after they had been unclaimed. Council Bluffs Mayor Tom Hanafan is on the Board of Directors for Children's Square and Child Connect.
